Ginger Oil
Ginger Oil
Just like the actual roots, Ginger Root essential oil is a top oil to use when treating many digestive issues including indigestion, nausea, gas (flatulence), motion sickness, diarrhea, and morning sickness. Due to its warming nature, Ginger Root also helps you treat poor circulation and chills. Because it helps stimulate circulation, it is very helpful when treating arthritis, rheumatism, muscular aches and pains, sprains, strains, and broken bones. It also helps relieve cramps and bruises. It helps stimulate your immune system. It can help reduce swollen glands, which help the immune system function properly. It also helps reduce the drainage of a runny nose and dries excess mucus. Ginger Root helps ease respiratory infection. It is a good oil to use when treating colds, flu, fever, congestion, cough, and sore throat. It is also really useful against infectious and contagious disease like chronic bronchitis, sinusitis, and tonsillitis. Blends well with: Sandalwood, Vetiver, Patchouli, Frankincense, Rosewood, Cedarwood, Coriander, Rose, Neroli, Cinnamon Bark, Ylang Ylang, and citrus oils.
Safety: This is a spice oil so be extra careful when using topically on sensitive skin. Use no more than 3 drops in the bath and no more than 2 percent in massage oils. It will thicken and get sticky over time.
